Medical Acupuncture

Acupuncture encourages the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. Needling acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system that either change the experience of pain or influences the body’s own internal regulating system and natural healing abilities. An electric current may be used on the needles to further stimulate acupuncture points.  Recent studies have shown acupuncture to be effective in managing many musculoskeletal disorders such has headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder tension, injuries to the back, knee and shoulder to name a few.

For more than 2,000 years people have been successfully treated with acupuncture.
