The intention of the directory is to provide a resource for BIPOC dancers and performing artists to find a support system that will address and validate their unique needs.

Linette Doherty

“Linette Doherty is a director, choreographer, and educator who brings a wealth of performing experience to each project she works on. She has worked extensively with young performers, directing and choreographing such productions as Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Seussical, and Wizard Of Oz. Linette also continues to perform professionally, appearing in episodes of Kim’s Convenience and Mary Kills People, and in the Aaron Sorkin film Molly’s Game. As an educator, Linette is an energetic and enthusiastic teacher experienced with both children and adults. She encourages her students to develop strong technique and performance skills along with a genuine love for dance and the arts, and opened The SPACE in 2004 – a unique studio where children and adults can learn from industry professionals in a warm and supportive atmosphere.”
