The first 14 years of my dance training in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop took place in studios without a mirror. What seemed for many years as a disadvantage actually nurtured a heightened body awareness that would fuel my passion to study the body and how to improve performance.

I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and my Honours Bachelor degree in Kinesiology and certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. I continue to upgrade my skill set by adding certifications in Kinesio Tape (KT1, KT2 Whole Body), Active Release techniques (A.R.T.®), CPR © (AED, HCP), Stott® Pilates (Matwork) and Fletcher® Pilates (Floorwork ® , Barrework ® , Towelwork® ), Conditioning & Imagery for Dancers (Level 1) and Progressing Ballet Technique (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced).

As a health professional, I fully appreciate the importance of proper alignment in order to keep up with your career, your family and your lifestyle.

Yes, I have 4 kids

As a mother, I can empathize with the joys and pains of growing a family. I help parents to cope with their new “parent posture” like “baby on the hip” syndrome and how stress is internalized as a result of lack of sleep and keeping up with energetic kids!

Once a dancer, always a dancer

As a dance artist, I continue to train and perform in various dance styles. My professional commercial dance experience gave me opportunities to work with prominent choreographers in the industry and developed the empathy required to truly understand the unique needs of the performer. Some of my notable dance credits include: Hataw Performing Arts, Toronto Para Pan Am Closing Ceremonies 2015, Madonna- Hard Candy Grand Opening 2014, Step Up Revolution Flash Mob 2012, Dairy Farmers Milk Commercial 2002.
